What type of Weld wheels do you have?
I know most people are running prostars and draglites. I am wondering if anyone is running alumstars or magnums or anything. Wondering if those wheels require grinding or if you can even get them in the correct back spacing. I think the ARE car was on alumstars. Thank you for any help.

Short answer:
Magnum Series = not avail in 15x10/7.5 setup only like 5.5 backspace
Alumastar - ARE silverZ had them, they are super pricey FWIW.

Cool i know the alumastars are pretty cool. I am just looking at my choices of wheels once the snow stops if that ever happens.

When in doubt, call up Weld at 1-800-788-WELD and ask them which rims are available in the various offsets. They are pretty helpful, just be specific if you wanting 15x10/7.5 setups.

I am thinking i will be going with the prostars all around because these will be my every day tires. Gonna run ET Streets daily in the spring.

I have the pro stars too but would like to switch to the alumastars and cut even more weight out of the car.
Plus they look cool as hell. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Good luck.
