Default Bolt on car with 27" tire and 4:30's?

Next season I will be gettng a 12 bolt and some type of sticky tires. I know most people with boltons go with 26" tire and 4:10's. I was just wondering could I go with 4:30's and a 27" tire with out hitting my rev limiter at the end of the track. The reason I want 4:30's is after I try to hit 11's with boltons I will be putting a cam in my car and I know 4:30's would be better then 4:10's for the cam I want. So should I stick with the 26/4:10's or go with 27"/4:30's?

I'm debating about moving to the 27" on a 4.30 to get more sidewall. I already gave you all the information as to my case. I'm just as curious though what others think.

If you get 28x9 ET drags (27" actual height) They are going to hard extremely hard. I think it's a good idea.

I was leaning more to th 27" QTP.I know they don't rub the fenders and I don't want to have to roll my fenders with a 28" tire.

In my M6 with a Moser 12 bolt and 4.30's I ran out of gear in 4th on my Nittos, I went with 28x11.5 Hoosiers, it was perfect. Awesome launches and still a had gear left in 4th.

I recommend 4.30 and 28".

I have my Hoosiers mounter on a set of Bogart rims, perfect fit. No Grinding needed, no modification of the wheel well. Just bolt em on.

Yea I want to get the D-10's. But I don't want to get a 28" tire because I don't want to have to roll the fenders or do any sort of modifactions.

I cross the line at 6000 with 4.30's and 28" Hoosier drags. My mods are LT's and a PT4400.
I like the combo, you won't have much of a traction issue with a half way decent track.
Good luck.
