Default ET streets...tube or tubeless

all racing tires claim that you must run tubes. we never run tubes in our racecars for various reasons. how do yall run your et streets?

I don't run tubes, have 10-12 buddies that run them all tubeless, as quick as 10.40 cars. Just extra weight, unless of course you need tubes to offset a puncture Hopefully my 4th set will be the charmer!

No tubes here. If you run tubes you should screw the tires to the wheels in case the tire spins on the wheel, which would obviously cause the stem on the tube to leak. One advantage of tubes is that they will hold the air pressure very consistent, compared to running the tires without tubes, which will slowly over time leak around the beads. I go tubeless and don't have any problems other than checking the air pressure often.

No tubes but I do have Discount Tire use bead sealer so they don't leak. I can go for weeks and no leakage.

Larry, if you use bead sealer how difficult is it to break the tires down off of the wheels eventually?

Tubeless!!!!! I always glue mine to the rim. It's not hard to get back off on a tire machine. Never had one spin though.

I would guess it's a bead sealer/glue or a contact cement/glue like they use on patches. Works great for me and personally tested to 1.43 60's and hopefully lower ones to come.

No problem for Discount tire to remove them.
