Re: suspenchion mods, how much are they worth?
lol, good question, I would like to know too. I would like to know if subframe connectors help me hookup better at the track. I had them on my '99 Firehawk with Nittos Drag Radials and I always hooked up well at the track. I'm not doing so well now with my new 01 Firehawk. I have Nittos on it but no Subframe connectors, I am wondering if that would make a difference.

Usually the first suspension mod is some LCA's. They helped me out a little. Thats the fist Suspension mod I got then I got some SFC's. Then you could look into getting a panhard rod or some HAL shocks. I don't have the shocks or the Panhard rod but I will be getting them in the future. I've heard the HALs help a lot and they are adjustable.

TIRES
By far the best suspension mod there is.
At the drag strip, grab the ET Streets or slicks.
At the road course, slap on some R compound Hoosiers or Kuhmos or BFGs.
At the mudbog put on some Superswampers <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
After that I'd say LCAs for controlling wheel hop, and then maybe a torque arm....

SFC won't really help you hookup any better, unless you just have so much flex that your losing time, but the SFC will keep the unibody from seperating under launches if you get hookin! Seen the damage caused from good launches and no SFC, nice gap tween the door and fender near the rocker panel. LCA's w/ relocation brackets control hop and help stick. Then tires, have a friend that just got a set of 'C' compound Hoosiers-holy-****-sticky-tires. Next you go for the T/A, but there are plenty guys(gender nonspecific) here that have run good numbers with stock torque arms. Maybe just change the mounts to polyurethane, and some HAL shock all the way around. Do the free suspension mod, disconnect the front swaybar. Does this help, hope so. Look at the sig and smerk, I may have info, but I sometimes lack priority and/or $$$. With our little shity prepped island track I hook 1.87 60' all night long on DR, best of 1.66 on ET Streets.
