Default West Coast Corvette Challenge announces second season of all-Corvette drag racing!

Greetings to one and all! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Our first event for the 2003 season will be on January 18th. at LACR. This is an all-Corvette drag racing points series (with apologies to my good f-body friend Terry Burger!) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Check out our website for details about this event in particular and any questions you would like answered about the WCCC in general: http://www.corvettechallenge.com

This year (2002) we had originally scheduled three events. Folks wanted more so we added two more events in September and November. For 2003 we are in the process of scheduling at least double that number - 10 events. As of today we already have six of the 10 scheduled and we are working to flesh out the rest of the schedule.

We have been trying to schedule one or two events down at Carlsbad. In addition, all of us are eagerly awaiting the opening of Drag City. When the folks at Carlsbad and Drag City can get back to us, we look forward to announcing additional dates to fill out the schedule.

In addition to events at LACR and California Speedway, we have also scheduled an event at Famoso Raceway on June 7th. This will be our first event at Famoso and we are really looking forward to seeing racers in the Central Valley joining in the WCCC fun!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all from the West Coast Corvette Challenge! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Keep 'em hookin'! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
