Default Is this legal rollbar?

I want to put the rear bar going back and weld on to the step where the 12 cd changer is. that part there. I think it would look cleaner and give it a cool look from behind. That and I will need it.

So basically you are talking about welding your 6"x6" pads onto the area where the bumper support things are? That is legal. Just alot of excess tubing.

i would think it would help if you get rear ended. wont crush as far.
