I ran 6.25 all motor. The fastest LS1 (nitrous) ran 8.97 in the 1/4 I believe. That should be somewhere around a 5.71 in the 1/8.

Just wondering something. What kind of 0-60mph times will my car be capable of when it's done. Assume a 10.90 1/4 mile on ET's.

It would have more to do with your 60 ft time than your ET. I know that at a 1.37 60 ft time, it and your 0-60 cross. So, my 0-60 time is 1.37. You could do the same.

thats what Colonel is talking about. when you run a 1.37 60' time you go 0-60mph in 1.37 seconds.

So when my bone stock WS6 did a 2.1 60' on my time-slip, I went from 0-60 mph in 1.90 seconds. I think not.

The 60 FOOT time can't be the same as 0-60 mph.
Stock WS6's and Vettes can't do 0-60 in 2 seconds.

Please explain this to me, it's not adding up.

It is very hard to predict with 100% accuracy your 0 to 60 mph time. There are a lot of variables such as traction, track conditions, weight of vehicle, U, etc.

I would hazard a guess of 0 to 60 mph anyhwere from 3.0 to 4.2 seconds ! Now if U are shooting for a record or something head directly to slicks and get the ultimate rear gearing !

One way to estimate the 0-60 time is the Desktop Dragstrip. On a 10.90 car, the 0-60 time is around 2.75 secs. On Colonel's 9.82 run it shows a 0-60 of 2.12 secs. The relationship between 0-60 and 60' times is difficult to quantify. It takes a 7.30-7.50 sec car (quarter mile) to have an identical 0-60 and 60' time. Usually they cross around 1.1 seconds.

People just always ask what my car will be able to do from 0-60 mph. I don't know what to tell them. I usually tell them that it should do it in 3-3.5 seconds, but I'm only guessing. Regular people have no clue what 60 ft., 1/8 mile & 1/4 mile times are, but everyone can relate to a 0-60 mph time.

I don't know how accurate it would be, but you could auto-tap your car logging mph, engine run time, and tps%. Then you can go back and look to the frame where you hit wot and watch how much run time elapsed when you hit 60mph. That should give you a very good idea.

As I said before, it just so happens that in general, a 1.37 60ft time equals about 60 MPH as calculated by this... http://www.smokemup.com/auto_math/60_foot.php

1.37 60 ft puts you at 59.7 MPH.

That's all I was saying. I don't have any way of knowing how accurate that calculator is. It's just something I came across somehow.
