Default New bests in the slow 4.6 GT....

I must give a BIG thanks to Mother Nature. She provided some of the best...wait...she provided THE BEST air you could ever possibly ask for tonight in Baytown at HRP. Density altitude was in the -2000 ft range...give or take 100 ft.

A bit of thanks goes out to TXCAMSS and Raughammer for laying down some sticky stuff on the launch pad and protecting my spot in the pits. Thanks guys! I'll let them fill in their own details when they get back on the board.

60ft's were off by about 4 hundreths, so the track prep *could * have been better. No new bests there, but....drum roll please....

60: 1.757 (1.709 is best)
330: 5.321 (best)
660: 8.313 (best)
MPH: 82.37 (best)
1000: 10.911 (best)
1/4: 13.101 (best)
MPH: 102.71 (best)

I backed that up with a 13.122, 13.136, 13.135, and some more...can't find all the slips right now.

Only changes to the car were a chip from RFF Performance and a small amount of weight reduction. The car weighed ~3150 lbs *EDIT: 3270 lbs* with me in it. My old bests were run in -100 ft DA, so as you can see, the air had a LOT to do with my timeslips tonight.

Total mods are in sig.

Not sure what other "stockish" LS1's were running, but I'm sure tonight was the night to run 12's in a bone stock LS1 car.

If only I could have hooked a 1.70x 60 ft......

Good times for such small mods. You must be driving it because that ET is good for the MPH.You might be able to squeek a 12.9999 with that MPH.Good luck

The car has done it on the same track, but under different conditions...sunny day, 95% slick-tire cars, good track prep, etc. Oh well...can't complain really. LT's and an O/R X-pipe are going on within a month or two, so maybe I can squeak a 12.8-12.9 before the summer hits.

My lid and catback A4 Z28 ran 13.0@107 on a 2.0 60' with 85 degree temps. That was on stock radials.

That's a very respectable time you ran. Congrats.

Lid, Cut-out on stock exhaust and a ported and polished MAF got me a 13.395 @ 107.4 with a horible 2.3x 60-foot.

3270 lbs with me in it. I'll edit the above post....I've always had trouble with simple math....
