Re: Weight difference in BMR and PA Racing Kmembers?
my PA ms k-member weighed in at 19-20#. i think the pa is cheaper than the bmr because the bmr has integrated engine mounts and the pa doesnt <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Re: Weight difference in BMR and PA Racing Kmembers?
My BMR weighed in at 24 lbs with the motor mounts, so it is significantly lighter than the PA racing one with the stock motor stands. The fit was perfect and the piece is stronger too.

BMR's i believe is only in chromoly. PA's you have a choice mild steel/chromoly
also i remember when they first started selling them you had to buy the a-arms too when with PA you didn't. i dont know if that changed or not but you should call up and find out for yourself

They don't offer chrom moly. You don't have the buy their a-arms. You can use other a-arms. On the PA and ARE, you have to use their a-arms or the stock ones.

Maybe it is just the ARE design that you are limited on the a-arm choice, but I thought the ARE and PA was basically the same design.

Re: Weight difference in BMR and PA Racing Kmembers?
Some facts since there seems to be some confusion on this matter:
BMR:
Lightest K on the market
Integrated motor mounts
Only in mild steel
uses factory A-arm locations
PA Racing:
comes in mild steel or chromoly
uses factory A-arm locations
ARE:
can only be used with ARE a-arms
