hoosier vs drags
did a search and didnt come up with much. is there a real difference between the 2? do they last about the same, hook the same, mph the same? i think the hoosiers have a slightly larger diameter.

Re: hoosier vs drags
I've never owned a set of Hoosiers, but its been my experience w/ET Drags you don't have to burn the crap out of them. They will hook with a mild burnout making for a longer lasting tire and more passes <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />
According to my Jegs catalog w/a 26x10x15 (thats the size you are looking at right?). The M/T is 9.6 wide the Hoosier is 10.0.

Re: hoosier vs drags
I tried ET Drags and they would not hold on my light weight Mustang. Changed out to Hoosier slicks, same size, and they held. My Mustang had a 2420 race weight which made it a good test vehicle.
The ET Drags were 28 x 10.5 x 15 and the Hoosier 28 x 10 x 15. Both measured right at the same width however.

IMO! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
The M/T are a much better tire than the Hoosiers for a M6 Hot Rod. <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
Good luck to ya. <img border="0" alt="[angel]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_angel.gif" />

Re: hoosier vs drags
i ran a e/t street 26x10.50x15 on my mustang and struggled to get it to hook, then switched to a 27x10.50x15 and made a world of diffrence.60ft went from 1.60best with et street to a 1.52 with the hoosier.it was a step up in tire size so take it for what its worth.i will always run a hoosier from now on though.
btw...the hoosier tread thickness is better and should last longer.
