Default Can I get 9s with this?

Well, here's going to be the setup:

422/ported LS6 heads
solid roller (huge cam - bigger than Judson's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> )
4000 stall TCS converter
3.73 rear, Hals, airbag, suspension stuff
28*10.5*15W drags
200-4R tranny (2.74,1.57,1.00 first 3 gears)
7200 shift point
150 shot gas

I like everything in this setup except - heavy raceweight (around 3440), and still LS6 intake.

I think 9s are a cinch on the squeeze, but what about on motor? What do y'all think?

Going to be interesting whatever happens - might also take a while to get it all sorted out.

Greg, what is the car running now as it sits?

For 9s on motor, I think you are gonna need 4:10s honestly. But, for the gas, 3.73s would be a great compromise.

I couldn't even flash stall 3000 on it. Because of that, I don't really know what the car could have run before on motor. I did squeak in a 10.93 once - with R1 cam, hideous 1.62 60-foot, and banging the limiter on the 1-2. That converter did rock on the spray though.

Thinking here is that I get 0.35 for solid roller (should gain 55 HP or so), 0.3 for a real converter, 0.15 for weight reduction, and maybe 0.1 for not banging the limiter. That's very close, but no room for screwing up on any pass.

Think you're right, 4.10s could do it (or even higher stall on the solid roller). Or could ghetto the car on serious weight reduction. Knowing me, if I don't get 9s this way, I will do something in order to get them.
