Default First Runs With The Gas -- Knocking on 9's

Well made it to the track for some N2O testing. Only made 2 N2O passes, the first being a dud. The timing froze up and I didn't get a time . They let me pull right back up, sooo I hot lapped it for another run. This also being my last run of the night...

60' 1.424
330' 4.190
1/8 6.504
MPH 105.52
1000' 8.497
1/4 10.165
MPH 135.40

Raceweight was 3480lbs, DA was -366 and 150 HP jets. Happy for first time out and setting on the progressive controller - 50% starting power with 2 second delay to full power.

Also learned the car does not like 4.30's with 28" slicks on the motor only.

Sooo, I will going back to the track next weekend after working out some bugs

I will post the video soon as I get it converted.

Kick *** times Allan! I say jet up a little and 9s will be in the bag. I bet the 1.42 60' felt pretty good.

BTW, the car is alive again. Might have some dyno #s tomorrow. I hope my fuel pump will keep up. lol

Cool Allan!
How different was your first untimed pass from the timed one?

I told you to put the 300hp shot in it!!!! Great job Allen...

One other question.... I know you're a young man and all and things are different for you but did you get a tingling sensation in the groin area when you hung that baby in fourth gear????

Wow!!!! I wake up and the whole world has changed.. You are right there.. This is amazing with a 150 shot using the progressive controller with 50percent and then 2 sec delay for the full 150 shot.. Running 75 shot first and then BAM!!! 2 sec's is a long time.. I am not a nitrous guru by any means, but I think if you either hit it with 75% and a 1 sec delay for full power.. You are in the 9's baby.. Or drop down to 3.73's and hit it with a 200 shot and change your tire height.. What do you guys think? Allan is teasing us..

Allan,

Couple of Qs:

How high do you spin it on the hose? Any worries about the stock crank?

Did you have the crank heat treated or and special processes performed to it?

Do you have any pics of your N20 setup?

congrats!
