11.51 @ 121!!! finally
Finally after 2 years of screwing with it my car is finally comming togeter. This was at MOKAN in Asbury, MO.
I took a few more chances with the stock rear (3.42's) launching at ~5500
previous bests 11.700 @ 118
My goals today were 11.5's at 120
1st pass
1/4 11.6488 @ 120.57!!!
1/8 7.498 @ 91.89
1.677 60'
I REALLY debated doing a second run since I was 120 miles from home and didn't have a trailor. I was really happy with the first, although I thought the 60' would have been better.
Car sat for about 2.5 hrs and I decided to make another run right before close, temps had dropped a bit.
2nd pass
1/4 11.517 @ 121.68!!!!
1/8 7.419 @ 93.65
60' 1.70
I was a little dissapointed in how well the track hooked, but oh well. I was the first day of the season.
these times may not seem like much for my power and cubes, but I've got a bum tranny I can't powershift with and I'm not even using 4th gear. Stock springs and shocks too.
didn't have a short belt either... there's more left in er, especially with a 12-bolt, 4.56's, 28" tire and good tranny.
hoping for 10.9's by mid spring.
