The rules for this DOORSLAMMER 5 -Second Challenge were: the car had to be 100% NHRA Legal EXCEPT weight minimum on the blown cars was reduced to 2500lbs with no blower overdrive restrictions. We were 2545lbs at the scales after the pass, and were legal with the blower overdrive. We are the first doorslammer in the 5 second zone. We are the first full bodied, left hand driven, alcohol piston driven fully suspended car in the 5's! And am HAPPY about that. I am out of my mind on this and thank my crew, my sponsors, my family and my fans for making this possible.
I am now the quickest doorslammer in the solar system, I was going to go for the universe but I didnt know what the Martians were up to! You will be hearing more from me soon when things calm down a little bit around here." Mitch
