Re: Got a new best ET!
Ok my signature didn't show up.
2001 Black LS1 M6 Z28
[Bolt Ons] Internally Stock
11.28@126.39mph
1.59 60'
Anybody seen someone beat that with all internals stock? Just some minor bolt ons/free mods? Slicks and skinnies?

Was your raceweight in the 2700-lb. range?
If not, is one of your "bolt-ons" nitrous?
If not, I'll go ahead and do this --> <img border="0" alt="[bullshit]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bs.gif" />
If I'm wrong, prove it.

Please explain internally stock. Does that mean, stock cam, stock heads, then bolt ons on top of that? Or does that mean you're running heads and cam?

Re: Got a new best ET!
No nitrous. N/A Internally stock!
Race weight was 3340 with a 1/4 tank of gas.
The motor is completely stock internal. I have all the bolt ons and full exhaust. 12 bolt and 456 gears. Seems my clutch is beginning to slip now though <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> I'll upgrade my clutch, then go for a better time in 2 weeks hopefully. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

126.39 <img border="0" alt="[bullshit]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bs.gif" /> You must have a 450rwhp "internally stock" nitrous eating machine. Maybe your looking at someone elses timeslip <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

Full mod list, if you would, please.
Which track? When? Timeslips scanned? Ever come south to Waco? I'd like to take a look at your car, if you don't mind. Maybe even race ya.

Re: Got a new best ET!
Actually that's funny you mention that. I work at Wells Fargo Bank in Waco Texas.
I have all the bolt ons/free mods. SLP Longtube headers, offroad x pipe, dynomax bullets dumped, 12 bolt, 456 gears, B&M ripper shifter, 28" ET Drags, skinnies.
Where do you race at? I'll be more than happy to show you the car, and give you a few runs.
I was VERY SHOCKED of the timeslip myself. The first 2 runs were 11.58 @ 123mph and 11.51 @ 123mph.
Maybe the 11.28@126.39mph was a fluke?

Re: Got a new best ET!
Awesome! This I gotta see. We race quite often down in Little River Academy at TAD...
But, I'd be glad to give you a run on the street. Tonight, if possible. Why does your location say DFW?

Re: Got a new best ET!
Oh nevermind,I didn't see the SLP headers.
I'm surprised you didn't hit 130mph. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
BTW- you're still not the quickest.
I was in Texas last week and went 11.062@125.82
(1.521 60')
All stock internal...so I believe you. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: Got a new best ET!
What track and when?
Any timeslips scanned?
Looks like we have VERY similar mods. Even if the 126.XX was a fluke, 123 is very hard to believe too.
Too bad you don't participate in street racing. I can do a highway-punch, rolling start at whatever speed you want. Please reconsider. We can do this tonight at a perfectly safe location.
What track and when would you like to race?
If you and your time are both legit, you have the fastest internally-stock N/A LS1 I've ever heard of. You still would not quite be the quickest, but real close. You'd be the quickest 6-speed by far.
