Default Who runs ET Drags tubeless?

Summuit racings site says you have to have tubes with these tires, but a number of people have told me they run their ET Drags tubeless. Do most people run tubed or tubeless? Are there any extra safty concerns with going tubeless with the ET Drags? What are the advantages of running with a tube or with out one. Thanks.

Most of the guys that I know run them tubeless. Myself , MMiller, Raughhammer,Steve350 and many others. I guess they recommend tubes as they have a tendency to leak down slowly and tubes would eliminate that.I monitor my air pressure often enough that I am not bothered by their air pressure concerns. If there are any other valid reasons , I would like to know also.Take care.

Tubeless here! I do however run rims screws to prevent the tire from spinning on the rim.

Thanks guys. Thats exactly what I wanted to know. Can't argue with those names that are running tubeless. Tubeless it will be.

Bryce,

Take some pictures of that bad boy when you have it all together! I'll stick it up on my webpage if you like.

^bump

My ET Drags came in yesterday (left in the rain by UPS man I hate getting water out of tires)

I plan on running tubeless... That is, unless one of them gets punctured. Then it's time for tubes...

I know GeorgeC has posted that he runs tubeless at 15 psi (I searched the archives)...

I run my 26-8.5x15 ET Drags mounted on Centerline Convo-Pro's tubeless. ('02 A4 SS w/a few bolt-ons). Absolutely no problems on top end, etc. Also, no sidewall screws... WJ.

I run my ET Drags tubeless. I've only put a dozen passes on them, but no problems yet.
