What kind of Helmet do I need?

What kind of Helmet do I need? Can i use a Motorcycle helmet?
bike helmets are around $150, and car helmets are like $250!
Ive been looking at a HJC helmet. but i dont want to buy a helmet i cant use......
the NHRA site says snell 90 or higher, but it doesnt say anything about a bike helmet......
can i use a bike helmet if its snell 90 or higher?
bike helmets are way cooler looking than car helmets anyway <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: What kind of Helmet do I need? bike helmets are fine, hjc's work fine, that's what I've used in the past, as long as the snell rating is 90 or higher.
