I was at 6600 shift point but I would go through first gear so fast I would hit the limiter (7000rpm) (This only happened occasionally in first gear)

I lowered it to 6400rpm and never had a problem since <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Cheers,
Chris

Somehwere under 7k. I shift it where it feels right <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
Very consistent like this too. It's a a3. Only 2 shifts. The tach is so slow I couldn't say, but I would guess 6550 on motor and 6300 on gas.

Default Re: What are you guys shifting your H & C 346's?

it depends on the cam that I has

the rev limiter is setting at 7000 rpm

with MTI X1 cam and TR 230/224 cam I was shifting at 6800 rpm

with my current Lunati 226/226 cam , I am shifting at 6600 rpm

Good luck <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Here is my combo:
Total engine airflow heads S2
Comp Cams 230/230 .575 .575 110lsa 110icl
LT, full exhaust, ect

Where would you shift this at? 7000? I shifted it at 6100 and it went 121mph.

Phillip
