I have yet to grind the calipers for my prostars yet so I was stuck w/my all season General tires today.

I had three passes in the 11s on these "race tires" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> ...

-11.98 @ 116.49 (1.83)
-11.99 @ 115.95 (1.80)
-11.95 @ 116.65 (1.81)

The air was excellent today (DA was -499). On a slick I think I could have got some 11.5s. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Oh well I gotta get grinding <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I heard the DA was awesome! How was the track hooking? In the fall when I went, it was really spin city.

Thanks everyone. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Louis, as far as the track prep, the left lane was working well. All of my 11 sec passes came from that lane.

I only made 2 passes in the right lane and it wasn't hooking for crap...

seriously congrats on the 11's on street tires man! I bet rollin on the throttle was a PITA!! But thats the sole reason i got the cam. TAauto, don't worry I'll be joining ya soon enough. I still have some parts to bolt on, I still need a pulley, LS6 intake, and a ported throttle body. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Be careful if you put gears in that car, I don't know if they were not installed correctly or its the fact that they are Richmonds. They just keep getting louder every time I go to the track. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> I'm seriously considering finding a 3.42 rear and swapping that in.

My 3.23's are getting louder and louder unless my hearing's getting better <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> I have a friends stock 10bolt with 3.42's i may just swap in there. But I dount going from 3.23's to 3.42's would be any more than .05 gain maybe? <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />
