Finally a member of the 12 second club!
Well I finally did it yesterday at Milan Dragway in Mi.
I was there for test and tune and had 7 runs in total. Started the day with a 13.21 taking it easy down the track because it was the first trip down the 1/4 mile this year and the first time with the new 12-bolt. After that I went a little harder and got a 13.15. Then I figured it was time to see what I could do. 13.008,13.003 and Then...
60 ft - 1.997
330ft - 5.528
1/8et - 8.407
1/8mph- 87.41
1/4 et- 12.958
1/4mph- 108.69
I had two more runs after that which were also in the 12's
12.918@108.71(1.973 60ft)I was spinning hard off the line but still managed my best 60' which I thought was wierd.
12.933@109.53(1.987 60ft)
After my last run though my clutch failed again so I have to have that checked out now but I think the good out weighed the bad
sorry for the long post

Congrats! I broke 12's the same day you did. You were actually 2 cars ahead of me in the staging lanes at one point. I recognized your license plate. Nice 60' too. I couldn't cut anything less than a 2.1. It was so damned cold and track prep wasn't very good. ET streets will help next time.
Shoot me a pm if you're going again. We can round up all the local f-bodies and make a day out of it.

I'll definetly pm you unit, although I don't think I will be out there for atleast a month since my clutch went. I'm trying to get it fixed asap but I will have to break it in before I can head back to the track. For my 60 I was using BFG drag radials, I have a set of ET Streets also that I will use next time, I didn't see the point this time because it was so cold and I didn't think I would hook with anything anyway.
How much does everyone thing you are able to gain from drag radials to ET Streets?

I hope that was the stock clutch that let go on you. Either way, it sucks. Sorry to hear that. I have a pair of Nitto's on the way. I was considering ET Streets, but I want something more street friendly. I'd be careful with ET Streets since you have an M6...that is if you're still running the stock 10 bolt. A few high rpm clutch dumps and good hooks and it's 12 bolt time.

Congrats on hitting the 12's...
I also experienced my best 60' times on Street Tires spinning.. Seemed to spin across the line faster than I could feather it across...

I have a 12-bolt now, my 10-bolt blew up on me last fall. No one has said anything to me yet at the track which is fine with me I really don't feel like ruining the look of my car with a cage.

I'm considering getting a 'vert. The only reason I wouldn't is the whole cage issue. Screw that. I'll get one if they'll let me run.
