Question????
Do you guys think that 119 trap speed is good enough for high 10's with traction? I ran the time in my sig spraying after the 60ft. I'm thinking that if I get off my *** and get some slicks I could spray right out of the hole and pull somewhere around 122-123 trap speed, and thus, since I'd be on slicks, I could possibly run high tens. Is this realistic, or am I wasting my time and energy dreaming of a 10 second pass?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Re: Question????
Not likely but possible, you'll need some serious weight reduction and/or maybe a cam as well to get to the tens I think.
I know people that have trapped 122mph while running an 11.3 on a 1.5 sixty foot.
But then again I know of Corvettes that have run 123/124mph and still pulled a 10.9...these are 6 speed cars though.

Re: Question????
I don't know that you'll pick up that kind of trap speed by spraying the car out of the hole, but I suppose it's possible.
If you can run 123-124mph, and have all your 60' "ducks in a row" so to speak, you should be able to knock off a 10.9 pass...

Re: Question????
It is hard to say what you would run 10's at 119 mph. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
How much do ya weigh? If ya want to run fast and make parts live. You have to get the weight down. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Let us know how it turns out. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

I haven't done ANY weight reduction. I've thought about it, but I want my car to stay as "Showroom" like as possible.

Re: Question????
I've seen 10.9's at 121-123 on 1.5- 1.6 60fts. With slicks, I think I could cut a 60ft like that, and hopefully I could spray out of the hole vice after the 60ft, and add a few mph to my trap speed. All I want is ONE 10.9 pass, and I'll be the happiest dude on earth. Well, beside the
