Thanks! The only bad part is having to clean that thing up after it gets covered in oil and water upon explosion! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

They really open up the area under the engine for header clearance.

For me it also made the engine about 10 times easier to get in and out of the car.
We pulled my engine out in 2 hours a couple weeks ago. From running condition to engine sitting on the floor. Thats a lot quicker than it was for me with motor mounts.

Less powertrain flex will get the power to wheels faster and more efficiently. I am really please with how good it came out for 180.00 bucks.

So this does away with motor mounts on the kmember? How does it attach to the frame? Sounds very interesting for the price.

You have to weld tabs on the frame and the plate bolts to it. I have them made and sell them for $150.00 ready to go, no fitting rquired.

I have the midplates but you need to have someone install some tubing in the cage to hold the plate.

Tom's plate is aluminum. Not steal. It also came with the tabs to install it. Its a pretty sweet piece.

Tom, your plate also has an aluminum sealer on it. So for instance if you have an oil spill or get nasty fingerprints on it, it will wipe right off. The plate also comes with billet aluminum brackets with a pedalstal to bolt it on. The pedalstal is used when setting the engine in place, you dont have to fight getting bolts in the plate. You can set it down and then line up your bolt holes later. We try to make it easy for a one man show to make engine installation easy...Chassis1
