car goes 13.7@103.
i am seeing other ls1's up here (5600 ft) fo 13.7-13.8's @103-105 with just lids and cutouts, on street tires no less.

i know i have a 00 with the ls1 intake, and no exhaust yet.

on 150 nx maf kit car goes 12.3@116 which is more in line with waht i would expect from the car up at this altitude.


ideas y motor is so slow??????????????

i am figuring i should be going 13.2-13.3's @105-107 up here.

With the N2O the car is flying, congrats. 12.3 is awesome. We have to get to the track together next weekend(sunday) so I can get more time on the car. Everyone that wants to go with me ends up backing out at the last minute and I really want to get out there with some more 4th gen f-bodies to hang out with.
Back in the day the car was going 13.3@105-6s with the below mods:
G2 air lid w/K&N
Mac Headers w/ORP
Random Tech exhaust w/cut out open
3.73s
BMR TRAK PAK
Vigilante 2800 TC
BFG Drag Radials on salad shooters no skinnies.

THEN I added the 6psi powerdyne and that dropped the times down to 12.7@109-112 with the above mods except the air box(s/c got rid of that)

THEN I added the MTI B1 Cam and related valvetrain stuff(springs, retainers, pushrods) and custom tuning by Ed Wright and times were 12.5's@115mph

THEN the PD came off and on went the ATI 9psi D1 and 15X10 prostars and 15X3.5 Skinnies with ET streets out back and the car went

all with the same stuff as listed above with the exception of the converter is now a 3800stall Vig, SLP loudmouth, 38# Lucas injectors, LS6 Intake manifold. The car 60 ft was a 1.70 in that pass. I need to get that down to a 1.50 or 1.40 to get my mid to low 11s. The MPH was off when the track reopened as you know so the MPH is prolly around 121-122mph.

I think once your LT headers and the rest of the exhuast gets put on you will be where you want to be.
Like I said above I want to get together with more F bodies at the track so we can hang out, let me know. I am definately going out next sunday. I want my low 11's

That would be an eye opener for the texas boys!!! LOL

We are going out again sunday. Hope to meet up with you. No new mods between now and then but maybe the clutch will let me net a 12.1-12.2 who knows. Headers may be here sometime. Who knows with Barry being so backordered. Just look for a white z28 with slicks and skinnies.

That's quite a cam with no exhaust mods. I'd be willing to bet you'd see a big improvement if you'd let that thing breathe!

Cool i'll be there. I have the camera ready so I can get some good videos of our cars, a group of us is gonna get there early. I am just about done installing the latest mod to the car. I hope it makes a difference. I'll be on the lookout for you.

I feel your guys pain. My SS does the same here. I used to race at the Albq track. I moved to Nevada and my track here is almost the same elevation as Albq <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> Go pick on the Mopars, I think they are have a challenge series that day! <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />
