Default How much power to lift front tires off the ground with slicks

Assuming its an LS1 f-body how much rear wheel horsepower and or torque would it take to lift the front tires just barely off the ground. Also, is it possible to do that on drag radials?

Anything from 350 to 600 horsepower. It really depends on how your suspension is setup.

For instance, I know people who can launch on a bolt-on motor and lift the tires because they have a loose suspension and the car transfers weight extremely well.

On the otherhand, i know people launching off the line putting down 600rwhp on gas that can't lift the wheels.

If you've got an A4 with a good stall, it doesn't take much at all to get some wheels up action. 6 speed car is a little bit harder.
