Default My 1st 1/4 mile run

So I went for the 1st time last Friday, here are the results:

R/T 1.197
60' 2.319
330 6.080
1/8 9.059
MPH 82.64
1000 11.586
1/4 13.724
MPH 105.44

Any tips to get faster? Am I doing anything Wrong? It was my 1st time but I think my car is capable of a faster time. Maybe I should just go and practice.

Thanks

Yes, go practice and get that 60' time down.

Get some drag radial tires and practice will lower your ets a bunch.

JOB3,

Practice, practice and more practice. This is the key to drag racing. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Not bad for your 1st time out. <img border="0" alt="[angel]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_angel.gif" />

If you get your 60ft down to 1.9-2.0(normal) then you can expect 13.1-13.4

Job3, A4 or M6? ...world of difference. My time is not stellar, have only gone a couple of times to the track, but I was where you were at the first time. Search for "launch" techniques. There's lots of info.
