I am going to order a Rear Drag Bar in the next few days. My car is a daily driver that will see the track about 3-4 a month. I am looking for a drag bar that works good and is the quieter on the street.
Is Spohn rod end's better (less rattle) then BMR?
What do you recommend?

I have the Spohn and a friend has the BMR. The Spohn looks nicer and works great at the track, I`ve gone from low 1.5s to consistant 1.45-1.47 60' w/only 440rwhp. The Spohn is a liitle noisy on the road though, but going from rubber bushing to steel rodend they all would be I think.

Oh yea if you point the rod ends completely strait(not angled inward or outward) after adjustment, you must hold the rodend while you tighten the nut, then it is much quieter on the street.

What is the weight difference between BMR and Wolf Drag Bar?
Would the Wolf be noisier and does anyone use it on the street also?

I have the Spohn rear drag bar, and I only occasionally have heard some scrunching noises from the bushings.

It bolts on in the stock location using poly bushings instead of soild mounts.

The soild mounted swaybars have there advantages, but IMO are too noisy for a car that sees alot of street use.

I just picked up a 25mm Spohn Wilwaxu is using. It`s a solid piece. My car actaully sees more track time than street duty but I decided to go with a stock location/poly bushing set-up. With the other suspension mods I have, I didn`t feel the price difference for a "Drag" bar was worth it to be honest. And I know alot of people run drag bars on there "street" cars, but in my opinion, a large dia. rear sway barwith poly bushings would be better suited.

I have the wolfe and it's noisey as hell...if ur car is a daily driver I'd look into the BMR

My wolfe bar isn't noisey at all.The main diffrence in the three is that the wolfe bar is welded to your axle tubes.As apposed to being bolted with a poly bushing.The end links
are all the same which is were the noise comes from anyway.

exactly sr71bbjr.....it's the end links, and they're all solid, therefor, noisy. noisy meaning clunky going over bumbs, but you get use to it after a while.

My Wolfe isn't so bad as far as noise, but it is a hardcore part. Does not like uneven driveways, or rough roads much.

I have the Spohn drag bar. It definitely does it's job at the strip, but it can get pretty noisy when going over uneven pavement.

I rigged a rubber bushing to put in the noisiest end-link. It still makes noise, but is well muffled.

If it's more of a street car, I'd go with Wilwaxu's suggestion.

are these pretty straightforward and easy to install, think i might buy one of these before a race i have coming up, do you think its worth it if i am running on nittos?

I think the bar is worth it no matter what tire you run.The bar (when adjusted right)
will help keep both tires planted evenly and will keep you going stright buy eliminating
turque steer.
