Default Who has an HO alternator in there drag car?

My stock alternator broke, so while I was at it thought I would buy a stronger unit to power my Accel, water pump, fans, fuel pump, ignition, starter and lights/accesories.

How many amps do I need and what companies make a good alternator for our cars? I believe I should be able to use my stock pulley and belt.

Any input would be appreciated

Dave

If you can crank it up to 125amps. I can do up to 140 but you have to go to a single wire setup.

I have a Eastcoast Electric 19volt 110 amp Alt, 1 wire, you just have to make your own bracked for it, since it uses SBC style mounts
