Fender Liners are about 8lbs. The big plastic undercarriage that bolts around the bottom perimeter of the front bumper cover is another 10lbs. A lightweight battery will only set you back about $75 and save you 25-30lbs (Hawker Odyssey Dry Cell Battery PC680).

Here is a link to the battery. Best idea is to buy one of these and just use it when going to the track or racing. Though I have known people to use it everyday but some dont crank after a while.

I bought my battery from the same place. Easy transaction and shipped quick. The mount is a very simple piece of aluminum we bent. The Car is not a daily driver but is started 2-3 times per week for the last year and it cranks just like normal. I've been thinking about painting it black though, it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Here's my battery: http://www.gotbatteries.com/Productp...ctNum=37L105S1

Here's how I mounted it:

I can go back to a factory style battery in about 10 minutes. I kept the same connecting bolts to battery. So far no problem starting the car.

nice stuff. my car is a weekend only,so i will have a new battery comming. also...i thought of keeping my windshield fluid holder. i think i may run new lines to my rear tires, fill it with VHT and use it to spray down for added grip. this would be great for street racing

Until the lines gunk up w/ VHT. Cut it w/ methanol if you want it to work more than once.

Not like I've ever used VHT on the street before though.
