Default What slicks to run with new combo?

Ok i used to have an iron 6.0 with stock heads, M6 , a nice cam and a wet 150 shot. Car has 4.10 rear with a spool. it was weighin in at 3555 with me in it and i would run 11.40's at 120 on motor and 10.60 at 130 on the hose.
NOW i'm going to be a stock internal 5.7 LS1, no more jug, same 4.10 rear with a spool, TH350 w/4800 8" converter and a trans brake. And race weight should be around 3150 with me in it.
Should i run 26" or 28"? would the 26" make it down the quarter?

i would go with a 28" drag. awesome tire and no worrys about running out of gearing. running out of gearing has more to do with rpms through the traps or trap speeds.

28's. Now, if it was me I would run 30x10.5x15's

i'm probably going to try 26's first. ther is mostly 1/8 tracks around here anyway. and last month i just sold my brand new 28's. if i can hook on 26's i'll take them down the 1/4 and see if i can make it.
