Default Dash is out.......

So is the heater box assembly, air bag etc. Took off the wiper assem/motor etc. Even took out that rubber firewall cover (can't believe how heavy that was).
Fabbed up a galvanized steel plate for the hole that was left.
#8 plug is my favorite now.
I think I'm gonna hang on to the radio for now, drowns out the noisy Moser rear.
Not sure about the bumper supports, I drive on the street. Gonna lose the door braces since I have the roll bar.
Before the dash coming out I weighed in at 3500 with me in it. I'm looking for a 3250 raceweight. I think I made a big leap towards that today.

Its about 60-70lbs for the heater box/dash insulation/heater hoses and air bags if I remember right. I took all the speakers + the monsoon amp out and rewired the door speakers so both speakers work with just the radio alone. It sounds OK and its better then nothing

I'm cutting all the safety (yellow) wires out. I may end up going to a Painless 12-circuit harness to lighten it even more. We'll see.

I'm using a stock dash. I didn't want the VFN dash just yet.
