Default Heading out to the track for the first time...

I've read some of the "first timers guide to survival" threads, any last tips or words of wisdoms for a newb before I head out there?

Also, what kind of times should I look for. **Expecting little to no traction**

Don't wait for the green to press the gas. Wait for the last yellow to go. By the time you put your foot on the pedal and start to move the green will have gone on and you will get a good reaction time. Other than that, just practice.
