Default using undertrays-reducing drag

has anybody got an undertray fabed up on thier cars. i have seen them on more exotic cars but was wonering if anybody has put one on thier f-body, and if it has really helped in reducing drag. also if somebody has made one what materials were used and are any pictures available.

I think the added weight would outweigh the aerodynamic benefit.

You could fabricate a belly pan if you wanted to out of CF. However, most of the car between the engine and the rear end is pretty smooth already. The only obstruction being the exhaust in there. Once you get to the rear end you have a much larger obsticle to get around. Overall I don't think you would be able to do as much with one like you can on a Ferrari or S7. Don't forget they hamper cooling of the cars components as well. I don't think you would gain much if anything by doing it.
