Default Had my car on a scale today and WOW

What do some of you guys car weight? I have a 95 firebird with a ls1 car is full dressed but no ac, car has a 12 bolt rear, bmr trac pac torque arm, bmr subframe connectors, chrome moly K-member, chrome moly a-arms, and weld wheels. I was thinking around 32000 pounds but with a 1/4 tank of fuel and know body in it it was 3540.00 pounds does this sound right? i thought i was taking weight off i know the rear end is heavy but i wasnt expecting that.

My 95 Z-28 car with LT1 thats 99% stock weighs 3400 without anyone in it and 1/2 tank of gas. My 2000 SS thats 98% drag car 2% street car weighs in at 3195 (race weight) with 1/4 tank of gas. So I think 3540 sounds about right not knowing what wheels etc..

Yeah these cars are heavy. I dunno, though, 3540 sounds like alot for your setup, with those mods. My car was 3405 without driver, a 1/4 tank, no rear seats, no jack/spare, and other than that, minimal weight reduction - chromo suspension parts, loudmouth exhaust (ie no muffler), aluminum shaft.

damn, no I don't feel as bad. I got mine in at 3600 without me in it on a 1/4 tank. No spare or jack and the the slicks/skinnies (m/t radials and 4" radials up front on bogarts)

I have a full stereo setup that isn't helping either.... where to begin

Mine weighs 3750 with me in it,no weight reduction ,cooler case and a half of beer, ice,
jack, spareand all seats.I weigh around 270 so that don't help much,Now you know why I need the case and a half of beer.

damn mine weighs about 3200 tops .... prolly more like 3150 with 1/4 tank of gas.. ive pulled almost everything i could like bumper supports ect, everything but carpet and stereo basically.. a/c, swaybar, heatshields, seats, spare tirejack, catback, a lot of junk is gone, but its still rolling on the stock 16's with no lightweight parts bought... should be about a 3350-3380 raceweight... course i have yet to add a cage or a rear....
