No, but you'll gain a ton of consistency and it makes launching the car much, much, much (did I say much?) easier. I loved mine!

If your car is turbocharged it'll help build boost off the line. That is worth some E.T.

Excuse my ignorance or lack of knowledge, but is a 2 step only needed with a manual car or an automatic with transbrake? I assume its a button that you press and it hold your motor at a certain rpm and you release it and it will flash the rpms? That way you dont waste your time trying to stall it up to a particular rpm? Fill me in here, I may be way off.

Is there any way you could wire it up with the transbrake because that would be 2 buttons that you would have to press. What if you released one faster than the other. Could get complicated. I assume you can set it to whatever rpm you want it to hold?

Dragaholic. You can wire your 2-step into your T/B. Release the T/B button will also release the 2-step.

Well I dont have transbrake yet nor a 2 step. I have to sell my 200-R4 first, then I have to get ahold of a 2 step as I read recently that Harlan is going to stop making them, but might do some here and there. When i convert over to TH350, its probably gonna be in the range of 5500 rpm stall.

i thought that by leaving the line at WOT and not dumping and flooring it from 5,000 may net better 60's and a little ET by the end on the 1/4mi. guess i was wrong.

If you have the right converter you shouldn't need a two step.
transbrake+5300 stall=

2 step with an M6 is almost a must if you hook everytime.
Night and day difference.

A 2 step is handy on an auto car, if you are making alot of power.
Traction problems or putting it on the bumper.

I think it is an all around good thing to have on your car.
