Default Strange rear brake question

I want to go with light rear brakes so I can run regular welds in the rear without grinding (already have aerospace fronts). I know the aeorspace rears use a spacer and clamps the bearing on like stock. I was wondering if the strange setup used the 'normal' drag race brake rear setup where the caliper bracket slides over the axle without having to fool with the bearing or if the bearings have to be pressed off to install them like the aerospace?

KP, the caliper bracket has a slot so you can remove without pressing the bearing off the axle.

Cool, I hate pressing off a brand new set of bearings and destroying them to install them, I'd just cut the stock caliper brackets off. But then again a pair of bearings is cheaper then the 150.00 difference, decisions decisions

I really like the strange rear set up, makes pulling the axles ALOT easier.

Yea, thats the way most drag brakes are, I'm sure I could trim the bracket for the aerospace to go over the axle depending how it holds the bearing in. Wonder why aerospace made it like that as opposed to everyone else's rears when the front is a pretty thin U shaped bracket.
