29.5x10.5W Tires -- How Do They Fit?
Guys,
I am trying to make the Thunder Shootout with my new setup. I want to run the largest tire that is allowed in Extreme Modified, which is the 29.5x15x10.5W.
This morning I ordered a Billingsley Fab 9 housing and axles with their anti-roll bar setup. The new rearend is shortened 3" per side.
What wheel should I use with this? Should I run a 15x12 with a 6" BS or a 15x10 with a 5" BS? I currently have 15x9.75 D10s with a 7.5" BS (this was for the stock rear length on my current standard 9").
Also, should I run a smaller diameter spring? If so what would be a good choice for a car that is 80% track and 20% street?
I should have the rearend in the next 3 weeks and will have the car at the body shop to make the necessary modifications. I plan on mini-tubbing the car as well.
Thanks,

Yes I think the little spring is good for your setup if you have the rear narrowed and a 5in bs wheel. You have to have offset LSAs I am pretty sure. With that setup you will have to tub the rear some. Kyle had that same setup in his and the W tires didn't fit. It is now mini tubbed. Do a search for BTL FED and you will see all his pics and everything.
