Default PLEASE HELP...Which size MT ET Street/ET radial street?

Hello all,
After doing some research, I still have not found the answer to my question.

I have a 99' Z28, Eibach pro kit, factory chrome 16" wheels. I am going to pick up another pair of wheels for the rear and buy some MT ET Streets or MT ET radial streets.

My question is: What is the biggest size tire I can fit in there??? I have heard the 26x10.5 would be too small and woudn't hook good.

Thanks for your help

Andy

What size are the wheels you are picking up? I am assuming 16x8 so i would say 26x11.5x16 ET street. However, I would recommend going with the ET Drag Radial. The only 16" size is 255 60 16 but it should hook just as well or better than the ET Street and you will still have the high speed stability of a radial tire.

Thanks for the replies. I want to try and get a slightly bigger tire than a 26x10.5 under there. I am going to try and fit the 27x10.5 ET street (non radial) on a set of 16x8 wheels (for brake clearance). Even though the radial may hook better, I would prefer a little more tire under there.
