Default NE1 running lightweight rear and stock front brakes?

if so, did you have any problems?? I installed aerospace rears last weekend, and the braking on my car is horrible. its like there are no power brakes. I bled and bled the brakes, no air at all is comming out and the power booster line is hooked up right. there is little pedal pressure, the rears seem to do almost nothing.

anyone else ever do this?

i have wilwood rears with stock fronts. i had no problems right after i got everything installed. at this point after sitting for 9 months, it is really soft. but it's really driveable at this point since i have to get the shifter mounted, so i'll check it later. but i didn't have any problems. just took a LONG time to bleed the system out, even when i thought i had done a good enough job.

I run the lightweight wilwood rears and stock fronts also. If the pedal is soft I'd believe that there's still air in the lines.

if your running a silicone based brake fluid, you will need to bleed constantly. Moisture gets in the line and rest beneath the brake fluid, causing a sloppy pedal feel.

Also did you install a proportioning valve?

I'm just using basic brake fluid. not sure if it's silicone based.

whats a proportioning valve?

I guess I'll just try to bleed them more. they did sit a while with the brake lines disconnected. that probably didn't help any.

Just keep bleeding them, run a whole big bottle through it it you have to.

I use synthetic DOT 4-5 valvoline, I think.
