i know man.. i thought the same thing.. i had the 275/60/15s and they wouldnt hook at all at 14lbs.. (thats the lowest that MT reccomended).. then I was talking to somenoe and he told me huge burnout and 9lbs.. wow what a difference.

I usually run between 12 and 15 lbs depending on the track.

i only go 1.5s with this tire but have noticed that lower than 15-16 psi and i stoped hooking. 9 psi? wtf? must be doing something i am not. i like 19-20 psi. otherwise you are collapsing the contact patch. 9 psi will not work for most of the cars in here.

Mine hooks great at 18-20 PSI. I usually cut 1.55 60'. IMO running 9 PSI is dangerous and there is no way I would run them that low.

I went to the track last night And im with you guys,I started with them at 16 then went lower, the lower i went the crappier it hooked!!!Track prep sucked also!!

uhh.. okay.. thats why the car 1.45'd and people w/ the same tire, pressure are in the 1.2x range.. just because im new to ls1s doesnt meant im new to cars. now maybe the low pressure doesnt work to well on the 17s? all i know is thats the only way ive been able to get the 275/60-15s to hook. and that was with about 600rwhp.

I run my at 18 psi and can cut 1.5-1.6 60 fts no problem.

holly crap 9 psi lol . your mph is really gonna suffer for that psi if your tire stays on the rim If ya cant hook on 18 psi your not heating them up correctly.

I have a friend that runs his at 12 ont he street and 15 to 18 on the track with a procharger and 15lbs of boost and pulls the wheels on the street
