Weird shake in 1st gear. Help! Just went racing today and every time I was racing when I reached 5500rpm in 1st gear it felt like I hit a rev limiter or something. Car shook for a second, but kept on going after it.
Is this normal? Please help guys!
Got another question for you. What RPMs does everyone launch at on street tires? I tried 2500 and it bogged down, tried 3000 and it was spinning... weird.

it depends. at maryland int. raceway, i launch at 3500 and slip the clutch a little and cut consistant 1.8's or maybe 1.9's on street tires (fuzions). but ive been to VMP and Richmond dragway, and i cant get a sub 2.0 60' no matter where i try and leave the line from.
