Default more HP with a ypipe and a cut-out .... OR 2 bullits comming off the hdrs

ok well i have been in deep thought about this !! i love the way my exhaust sounds with the cut out and y pipe however i think its very heavy and it bangs all over! soo my thoughts are to find a couple of bullits or slp resonators and have them ran strait off the headers!! (or any suggestion other then bullits)

1)good idea or bad??
2) how loud would it be compared to the cut out?
3) and would i see any improvment then the y pipe with cutout?

im sure someone has tried this !!?? thank you

good idea tony why because you will save alot of weight and should pickup a bit of top end power. And it won't sound a whole lot louder thean the cut out.
if you do it i have to check it out and go for a ride

Be prepared for some wicked RESONANCE.

You should save a good amount of weight as previously stated.

you will also loose the scavenging affect by running the headers separate. i think it would be better to fabricate up some x pipe then do the bullets after that. if im not mistaken running straight off of the headers you could loose power under the curve and gain minimal top-end.
