Default 28" tire too much for me?

OK, I've been using 26 x 11.5 ET streets mounted on stock z28 wheels, and been having problems hooking up.
I'm getting some 15 x 10 prostarts w/ 3.5's up front. I'm going to be using M/T drag radials.
The car is cam only wi/ a 150 shot & 4k stall. Currently I hit the rev limiter in 3rd at about 135 and I trapped at 126 last time not spraying until the top of first gear. So, I've got some gear left w/ the 26" tires.

So, what do yall think? 26" or 28"?

with a cam, 4K stall and hitting a 150 out of the hole i'm surprised the 26's are hookin, especially since they are streets. i'de go with the 28's.

So you think the extra help getting out of the hole will outweigh crossing the traps at a lower rpm?

No, 3.73's with 6700 rev limit. Converter is also set up for nitrous, so it's tighter than the average 4k stall.
