the taller the tire the longer the footprint you have..... its bigger so it has more surface area and more surface area = more traction

a 10''wide by 26'' tall has a smaller foot print than a 10'' wide by 28" tall tire..

you'll need more power to push that 28'' tire down the track

it'll fit there but will rub the inner fender more then likely. drop back to a 28x11.5 if you can. thats what i'm running and it only took minor fender "adjustments" to make it work

At a minimum you'll probably have to roll the fender lips.

28-12.50-15 on a Bogart bolted RT here. Had to "massage" the inner well a bit, and cut the rear bumper cover a hair. The fitment issue for me was through the traps due to growth.

Default wheel well

Go to www.ktsracing.com under "GM F-body" to see
a wheel stretch and inner well work.
Note work done to spring area plate also.
We fit 30x10 slicks with this method.
