Default dragracing (9s) with stock style brakes?

has anyone done it? good pads and rotors, just not "drag brakes" like the aerospace or strange kits. has anyone done it with any form of success and if yes then what is your setup?

I did it on 100% stock brakes. Worked fine for me on my old 9 second setup.

Honestly my stock brakes stopped better then the aerospace front/strange rears lol. I did it for the weight reduction, not stopping power thats for sure..

No doubt, the first time I made a pass on the Strange brakes I thought I was going to go into the sand pit, really got my attention.
