Default Trap speed

Is a trap speed a good estimate on the potential of a car?

I've never had any luck running "good" at the track.

I trapped 98ish in the 1/8 mile w/ a 2.2ish 60ft.

Any thoughts?

4.10 gears, peggin out 3rd gear on some 26in MT DR's.

when i ran that it was cam/boltons/and 150 shot.

i fig'd if i could ever cut a good 60' i know the MPH would come down.

the car's a pig. I've since pulled the 6pt cage and sold the prostars.

I'll get back into the track scene in a few years when i'm done w/ college.
