Default 28" tire fitment, more like centering question.

Ok, I tried some 28's before, on stock LCA's, and I rubbed a hole in the rear bumper cover, more on one side than the other. So, now I have adjustable solid ended LCA's and really need to run a taller tire. Whats the proper way to adjust the fore-aft fitment to avoid rubbing, or is it as long as it launches straight dont mess with them?

Just adjust each side to where your tires are centered with enough clearance in the wheel well with the adj. LCA's and lock them in place. As for launching straight just make sure both sides are equally centered and there should be no problem.

Might need an adjustable PHB if the rearend is not centered. I had that problem.

I'd suggest pulling a tape from the front of the door to the center of the axle and equal those two measurements for each side. You can move it up or back in the well that was rubbing and then grab that measurement and equal the other side.

with a 28in tire, how much grinding will i have to do, i have a adj panhard bar and lca's and lca's relos.

As Sux2bu mentioned, it's not the tire, it's the rim that would necessitate grinding of the brake caliper. Bogarts are the only 15" rim that doesn't require grinding that I know of. The grinding process is slow, but will give you a lot of choices in rims if you decide to do it. Either of those choices is much better than adding spacers IMHO.
