Default anyone running a aeromotive fuel system setup?

my stock fuel pump and injectors are maxed, when i do heads i definatly need new injectors and bigger fuel pump so i figure i just assune do the entire fuel system with braided lines, aeromotive a-1000 pump, fuel pressure regulator, billet fuel rails(unless its easy to hook to the stockers), svo 30lb injectors and a 6 gal aluminum cell. anyone running this stuff, what did the system cost you and am i missing anything

also, is the spal 16'' puller the fan i need to replace the stockers?

Do yourself a favor and don't get the Aeromotive stuff. Stick with Product Engineering, Weldon, or Magnafuel.

For whatever its worth, I'm running one. Aeromotive elimiinator pump (for motor and first stage of n20), aeromotive rails, pro series regulator etc.

I had to make my own fuel cell as my FAB 9 rear took up too much room with a stock tank as low as my car sits.

Let me know if you have any questions, I am finishing up my setup now and will post pics soon.

The only knock I have on the aeromotive stuff is it isnt rebuildable like a Weldon.

But for the price difference you would have to burn up a few pumps before you equalled out.

The Aeromotive stuff doesn't flow very well at 58 PSI of fuel pressure. The flow graphs they provide on the website show a big drop in flow as the pressure goes up, which is basically the opposite of how it should work. The Weldon and Magnaflow and Product Engineering work much much better. You'll be glad you went with it. That and there are tons of horror stories of the Aeromotive pumps just dying for no apparent reason.

I went with all Aeromotive ProSeries stuff. Pump, Pump controller,ADJ FP Reg.
I was going to run the Eliminator pump but like Ben said in the upper FP they do drop some so we just went with there biggest pump.
Ill be sure to post up how mine does....

As fluid pressure increases, flow will decrease. The other "high end" pumps are designed to be more effiecient and they have a stronger motor.

I know a few people that use the A1000 pump and they have had good results with them. But one guy changed to a 16 volt system and when the fuel pump got all 16 volts it leaked at the end caps.
