Default HELP! what slicks and drag wheels?

i know nothing about them :wall:

ok im gonna run a 15" wheel (have to grind i know)

the car is lowered
i assume i can only run a 26" tall tire. (true?)
what slicks do yall recomend?
i was looking at et streets
on jegs i see...
26'' x 10.5'' - 15''LT
and
26'' x 11.5'' - 15''LT

can i fit the 11.5 on a lowered car?
what size wheels? what offset?
what drag wheels are the lightest or most popular?

also
what about the fronts i want to run skinnys on drags, maybe a 3 or 4" rim? what offset? will i need spacers? what size tire?

any and all advice would be greatly appreciated......

you are probably going to have to run a 28" tire. Lowered cars run them al the time you just have more clearencing to do.
With 26's your going to run out of gear.

with 26's at 6,800 you would cross the traps at 128mph
with 28's at 6,800 you would cross the traps at 138mph
Hell when i was a heavy (3,555 lbs) cam only M6 with a wet 150 i was crossing the traps at 128 i think.
BUT you might just be running 1/8 mile so i don't know.

Will those wheels fit on our cars with no grinding, just bolt right up?

Hoosier makes a 27x11.5x15 as well as a 27x10.5x15. I would go with the 11.5 seeing as it has a 10.0 tread width and will go nicely with the 15x10" rims.

Um is Jegs the only place you think carrys tires????
I found them 1st thing on Summit...... easy find........
Hoosier Quick Time Pro D.O.T. Tires
Tire, Quick Time Pro D.O.T, 27.0x11.5-15LT, Bias-Ply, DOT- Approved, Solid White Letters
$164.95
Pt # HOO-17510

I would go with a M/T ET Street Radial also..... 275/60/15 is a 28" tall tire..... but the whole lowering this messes you up....... i gave up on that..... went back to filling the wheel well with the tire instead of lowering the car to meet the tire.........................
