door bar removal question

Default door bar removal question

For those of you who have removed your side impact bars, how did you do it and list the tools you used to remove them. I have attempted mine with long drill bits but none of them would drill through those rivets that hold the bars in. I need another method.

They bolt in Dustin. Come by the shop Monday and I will loan you the tool.

I used a 15mm socket to brake lose the nut near the end off the door and then I made a 10mm wrench bend the right way to get the two front bolts do a search or check out the poll I put up I have pics in it.

and heres the hole I drilled to get them out or you could take the front fender
off and pul it thought where the wiring goes thru.....hole size was 1 1/2
