Default Will new shifter make a difference?

I still use my standerd OEM M6 shifter (non Hurst option). Will a new SLP, Hurst, or B&M shifter really help my 2nd to 3rd shifts? Which one is better?

i replaced my factory hurst shifter with the slp short throw with shortened stick and loved the results! the second to third was much better and it made it alot easier and quicker shifting on the track
